Service Trip

A work trip for high schoolers and adults

When: Saturday, May 6 @ 7am - Sunday, May 7 @ 3pm

Where: Immanuel Baptist Church in Springfield, OR

What: 

The needs of the church include: removal of a large hedge preventing clear line of sight while exiting the driveway, painting of a couple rooms inside the church, removal of a large accumulation of pine needles on the parking lot, removal of large, dead shrubs, removal of old tree stumps along with stumps from the hedge, pressure washing of parts of the building and sidewalks, and finally, given that Ben is able to coordinate with the proper people, removal of piles of school materials no longer used at the church to free up more rooms. We might be able to bless Ben Bedlion and his family as well by doing some work on his backyard of the parsonage by removing rocks and a concrete slab.

Needs:

- Youth and Adult volunteers

- Tools, such as = chainsaws, shovels, pressure washers, paint, paint sprayer, saws, rakes, brooms, leaf blowers

- Donations! We will need money for food, potential disposal costs, gas, as well as paint, and other unforseen costs

       - Donation goal = $750

Registration is required for attendance!

Pick up an application in front of Pastor Andrew's office, in the Youth Center, or in the lobby of the sanctuary!

Fundraising event:

- Saturday, April 29th = cornhole tournament
